This is where your Voyageurs, LeTour, Super LeTour etc... bikes were made for Schwinn in Osaka Japan.

Yeah, that part of the factory is like the "Cage" was to Schwinn where the upper end bikes are custom built. If you've ever seen the inside of the Waterford shop this Panasonic shop is very similar. Panasonic still makes a large number of bikes that aren't quite as custom built but they are very high quality. Bridgestone is still the largest manufacturer of bikes for the Japanese market and are mostly quality built cookie cutter type.
