Hello from Southwest England,
I am not a Schwinn owner but aspire to be one, the vintage models that this site seems most interested in were not widely sold this side of the pond and they rarely come up for sale or I would probably have one by now, I do keep an eye on a couple of selling sites but not much comes up.
I have a liking for the more basic everyday bikes and just about anything with a Sturmey Archer 3 speed will catch my eye, I hope to use the site to learn more about vintage Schwinn and work out which models I am most interested in and if I get to visit the US again might have the chance to buy one and bring it home.

Welcome!
There are good people here and as we grow again there will be lots of good information. Hope you get your vintage Schwinn...
Too many bikes to list

Welcome! The great majority of my bicycling is done on bikes with Sturmey Archer AW or S5 hubs. I have one AM hub, truly a nice riding old hub, and there is a FW laying around, waiting for a project to happen.

I'm guessing this bike would be in your wheelhouse. It is a 1959 Schwinn Tiger I restored years ago. Three speed AW, heavy, smooth, fun to ride, although I seldom do. Before and after pics.
