Not sure if anybody knows about this, or if everybody knows and I'm just late to the party. There is a site called "Search Tempest" that enables you to search multiple Craigslist listings. Just enter your location and the radius of your search.

I've found some items that I couldn't get locally, just have to arrange payment and shipping with the seller.

Thanks Charlie. That was posted on the old site and back then when it first was available it was pretty iffy. It's seems to have improved quite a bit.

If I remember correctly (which is getting harder these days) it also searched other sites like eBay, but there was some kind of legal issue so they stopped.

Search Tempest ran into problems with CL and Ebay but it seems they resolved the issue with CL and not Ebay. It's very handy for searching CL. Find more ways to spend money
